· One 1-inch 3-ring binder · Tab dividers labeled as follows: Language Arts, Math, Science/Social Studies, and Extra Paper · Sharpened wooden pencils (no mechanical pencils) · Erasers · Scissors · Red pens · Colored pencils · Glue stick · Zippered pencil pouch (no plastic pencil boxes please) · Wide-ruled loose-leaf notebook paper · Crayola crayons (24 count) · 3 plastic/vinyl folders with pockets · Pencil sharpener with cover · Ear buds (in a ziplock bag) **Students need all of these materials every day. Feel free to send in an extra pencil box (plastic is fine) with extra supplies listed above in case your child needs something during the school day. |
Weekly HomeworkMonday: ELA: Write the spelling words neatly in your binder. Using a colored pencil, trace over the letter/letters that form this week’s phonics sound (you can find this sound in the eraser of your “pencil” sheet). Study your spelling words and the meanings of your vocabulary words.

Study your spelling words and the meanings of your vocabulary words. Reread your Wonders reading story. Be ready for tomorrow’s spelling, vocabulary, and Wonders story tests. Math:study 2s, 5s and 9s for part 2 of the Topic 2 test. Get your Thursday Folder signed Third Grade Sentence Writing Rules 1. Sentences must have 7 or more words. 2. Sentences must make sense. 3. Sentences must have correct grammar, punctuation and use of capital letters. 4. Get your sentences signed by a parent. |
